I need to take action, right now
I have got to park my domain soon. It’s just not possible for me to have it floating about so to speak anymore. The question though is where and more importantly how I should do that. Internet stuff such as domain and IP:s and SEO do not exactly fall in under my line of expertise. Quite the opposite actually. I have basically no idea whatsoever as to what the hell I’m speaking about here or what parking a domain really means. I do know that it needs to be done though and I am entirely positive that I am going to need and require some serious help here. Now, I do have some friend who just might be able to help out with this infernal business. But the thing is, I would rather not have them involved because they do have this tendency to take over any project they get involved in. Which means that I will be forced to smoke them out and scare the little buggers away somehow later on and I don’t like that sort of business at all.
Thinking about seo
In thinking about seo domains I have reached a point where I wonder as to who or what decides the value or quality of my content, or anyone else’s content on their own website for that matter. Am I creating the illusion of quality content simply because I have been able to create more traffic through using search engine optimization in coming up with seo domains, or do people who stumble upon my website, if such a thing still exists today, genuinely appreciate the content on my website? Secondly, and this ties in with the previous point, were people really looking for the things I had to say, or were they simply guided to it by my invisible seo hand?
I need to go shopping
I don’t really know what to do now, I have spent all day looking for information about Cloud VPS Hosting but now I am tired of sitting in front of the computer and I want to do something else now. I should go shopping because I really have to buy a new pair of shoes because the shoes I have now is very old. I only have one pair of shoes so it would be about time to buy new ones. I don’t really know what kind of shoes that I should buy but I might get some ideas if I go and look for some new shoes in the stores. I need other clothes too so I should be shopping all day. It will be nice to have some more clothes to wear. I am not very interested in buying clothes and I don’t really like it but sometimes you have to do it and now is such a time because I don’t have anything to put on.
New band
I’m in a band. It’s a little garage endeavor with on guitar an vocal and colleague from work on the drums. We are quite good actually. Last month we recorded four tracks for an EP-singe. Than plan it to make or artwork for the records and then release on or won label. We’ve got the music and album bit down, we’re do great song on it and a friends who’s a graphic designer has solemnly promised to a real piece of art for us. There’s of course one obstacle we haven’t managed to get by, though. How in the hell are we going to get people to buy or listen to it? We don’t do much gigging as we both have day-jobs. I’m fine with that (don’t like gigs either) but it also mean that we can’t sell records after shows. No, we’re going to inflict our music on the world by our website. However, since we’re not exactly The Rolling Stones here, how are we going to make people come to our website? And friend of mine who’s more into computer and webby stuff said that we should employ something called seo hosting. I have no idea what that is. But if works I’m more than willing to try it.
